More shop local

A few weeks ago, Tonbridge Councillor Tom Edmondston-Low launched a "Shop Local" initiative, delivering a leaflet to every home in Higham ward (which he represents on Tonbridge & Malling Council) offering discounts to residents at the local parade of neighbourhood shops.

I am pleased that two further branches have also joined this initiative, in the Benenden & Cranbook ward in Maidstone constituency and the Goudhurst and Lamberhurst ward in Tunbridge Wells.  Copies of their "Shop Local" leaflets are printed below.

Well done to Goudhurst & Lamberhurst Councillors Edmund Hastie & Barry Noakes and Benenden & Cranbrook Councillors Dr Linda Hall and Sean Holden. I hope your local "Shop Local" initiatives are a success, both in terms of raising your profiles locally and encouraging residents to support their local shops.
