We should celebrate diversity, not fear it.
I was disappointed to see on Facebook a post, from someone I have known for 20 years, which I felt was published to shock and perhaps provoke a negative reaction. Fortunately I was the first to comment, and I hope my liberal view will at least make some people stop and think before posting reactionary and negative comments.

I think they look fantastic. And I imagine your friend will be persuaded once he sees how professionally these two officers serve the public, although I agree it is frustrating that he doesn't recognise their service by the mere fact that they're in uniform. But as you say, the more the merrier!
